Q. Does everyone in the company have to use the service? A. No. The proxy settings can be set on a per user basis. Q. Can I monitor the sites that employees are visiting? A. Yes. We can control or log Internet access by providing a username and password for each employee. A web interface is provided to the employer to review the logs. Q. What web sites can my employees visit? A. The employer company can customize the list of web sites and can have multiple lists. Q. What if we don't know the sites that we want our employees to visit? A. We can address this in one of several ways. (1) We can monitor for a period of time to establish the list, or (2) We can set up a black list of sites that you know you don't want your employees to visit, then monitor and block as necessary. Q. How long does it take to get a site added? A. Typically within an hour of the request but no longer than 4 hours. Q. What happens if WebBlockade goes down or the server is not available? A. We make no guarantee of availability. As everyone knows the Internet is a public network that we have no control over; however, here at WebBlockade, every attempt is made to keep the network and equipment available.
